Flyers aboard British Airways are set to use high-speed connectivity in the air at no cost due to a major agreement from Elon Musk's communications firm.

The airline revealed that this free, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet offering via SpaceX is set to be accessible to customers flying coach, premium economy, or premium cabins starting next month.
Expanded Implementation Across Various Carriers
The parent firm for British Airways, IAG, confirmed it had secured an partnership involving the satellite firm to provide wifi access across more than 500 aircraft across their airlines, including the Irish airline, Iberia, and the low-cost airline.

The airline explained that this implementation for the service was included in a multi-billion pound “transformation” program and will offer lag-free connectivity access to passengers starting at boarding through arrival, also when they are flying over large bodies of water or remote regions.
