Authorities End Search for Young Boy Disappeared in Australian Wilderness
Australia's law enforcement have ended the hunt for a four-year-old who has been missing in the wilderness for nearly twenty-one days, after renewed attempts were unable to discover any traces of the boy.

Gus Lamont was observed playing outside his family property on a isolated farmland near Yunta, about a significant distance from Adelaide, on late September.
His family member briefly departed for about a short period before checking on him, only to discover the youngster missing, triggering one of the most extensive land and air operations in local history.
Current Situation
Authorities - who do not suspect wrongdoing - say they will persist investigating, but that the case has become a "search for recovery".
Earlier, authorities temporarily scaled back the operation, only to recommence it on recently alongside 80 Australian Defense Force members.
"Commissioner Grant Stevens said authorities were looking a more extensive region based on new analyses from survivability and operation specialists, rather than any new information."
Operation Obstacles
On recently, officials stated that the new operation had not discovered any traces of the child.
"The reality that the child is a young child, the terrain is very rugged, challenging and affected by unpredictable weather conditions has made the searching demanding and more difficult for those involved," police said in a statement.
About 470 sq km - an region about twice the size of urban center - has now been scanned, and a 12-person unit created recently is expected to continue examining. Authorities have not excluded additional missions of the property in the coming days.

Gus, who has been characterized as an explorative but reserved youngster, was spotted wearing a gray hat, light grey long pants, boots and a blue full-sleeve top displaying a bright character character.
The case has generated substantial interest across Australia, with pictures of the fair-haired, wavy-haired youngster featured in regional news and speculation circulating extensively on the internet.
It prompted officials to ask that citizens discontinue phoning them with their "speculations", and appeal for them to obtain details from credible channels.
Family Statement
Police earlier this week said the youngster's loved ones remain "resilient" despite the heartbreaking circumstances.
"It's easy to comprehend just how they are feeling... without having answers as to precisely where the boy is and what's transpired to him. This would be devastating for every family," Official the commissioner said.
Through a family representative, the Lamont family has earlier said they are "devastated" by their son's vanishing.
"This represents a surprise to our household and loved ones, and we are finding it difficult to process what has occurred," the spokesperson said.
"Gus's absence is felt in each family member, and we miss him more than expressions can describe."
